Committed to serving senior citizens
The Finnish Canadian Rest Home Association (Koski Housing Society) is currently expanding its service to the community by providing seniors rental housing in Coquitlam.
Thanks to the foresight and generosity of Mr. and Mrs. Koski, the FCRHA became the beneficiary of the Koski’s nearly 5 acre property just north of Coquitlam Centre in 1967.
Welcome
The FCRHA was originally founded in 1958, in order to meet the growing demand in the Finnish community for affordable housing and compassionate care for seniors. Through the tireless efforts of hundreds of supporters and volunteers, the FCRHA has built upon its proud legacy with reasonably priced rental apartments, exemplary residential care facilities, and other required services for the community. With this in mind, the Association is in the process of forming the Koski Housing Society (FCRHA) in order to manage its seniors’ housing project in Coquitlam. The Koski Housing Society’s (FCRHA) seeks to provide residential rental accommodation, support and amenities to seniors including those with low and modest incomes.
